La
Boscara agritourism farmhouse accommodation is run by Raffaella
and Itamar, a young couple originally from Romagna but adopted
by the Marecchia Valley in the Marche.
There
are two houses on the farm, one of which has recently been
renovated, with three simple yet welcoming rooms all with private
bathrooms (the Red room, the Yellow room and the Blue room).
There is also a lounge area for breakfast and relaxation in
the evenings.
Situated
in the valley, in the small village of Maiolo, which is famous
for its bread festival, where bread is made by the locals in
their homes, and in particular its “Bread Museum” a
special open-air museum spread out over the Maiolo area.
The
village is also famous for the recently renovated fortress
of Maioletto, from which the village of Maiolo takes its
name. It is also famous for its close proximity to the impressive
town of San Leo, where Cagliostro was imprisoned until his
death.
The
peaceful surroundings, the enchanting two fortresses and the
possibility of spending time looking for prestigious black
truffle or the amazing herbs recommended by the expert owner,
all make for the perfect holiday.
The
products grown are fruit used to make jam and fodder crops
for animals.
